Trauma-Informed Care Through an Equity Lens

In this webinar, Dr. Dorsey of the San Diego County Office of Education and Dr. Sparks of Oceanside Unified School District will look at understanding adverse childhood experiences from both the adult and student perspective as it relates to learning. During the conversation, they will cover:
- Strategies for students who have experienced trauma, acknowledging these students can still learn and be successful
- How to handle trauma in students resulting from COVID-19
- Understanding that adults must fill their own adult SEL cup before they can support students
