The Strategy Session: Leveraging the Science of Learning and Development to Advance Excellence and Equity

The Science of Learning and Development (SoLD) Alliance recognizes that there is a growing ecosystem of education and youth-serving leaders who are committed to using knowledge from the science of learning and development to transform education systems to be equitable and excellent for all young people. The SoLD Alliance is hosting a new series of monthly conversations designed to support leaders through information sharing and meaning making with colleagues across the field. The first session, The Federal Education Policy Landscape Through a SoLD Lens as President Biden Takes Office, will feature Jessica Cardichon (Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Policy Development), Thaddeus Ferber (Executive Vice President at The Forum for Youth Investment), and Lynn Jennings (Senior Director of National and State Partnerships The Education Trust).
