The Kentucky Out-of-School Alliance is excited to invite you to a Lights On Afterschool Kentucky event, a morning dedicated to the incredible impact of afterschool programs in our community. Lights on Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families and communities.

As a valued partner of the Kentucky Out-of-School Alliance, your support has been instrumental in making a difference in the lives of countless children across the Commonwealth.

At our Lights On Afterschool Kentucky event, we will:

• Roll out the latest report on afterschool in Kentucky: “Afterschool in Kentucky: A Critical Need Remains an Afterthought”
• Illuminate Success Stories: Hear inspiring stories from those whose lives have been positively transformed by afterschool programs.
• Shine a spotlight on the important role afterschool programs play in the lives of working Kentucky families.
• Unite for a Brighter Future: Connect with fellow supporters, volunteers, and advocates who are passionate about ensuring every child has access to quality afterschool opportunities.

Summers, school breaks, and the hours between school dismissal and the end of the workday are a challenge for working families across Kentucky. They don’t have to be. Together, we can ensure that the lights stay on after school, offering a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for our children.
