The 2020 Howard L. Bost Memorial Health Policy Forum Webinar Series highlights programs and policies in Kentucky and elsewhere that successfully encourage healthy lifestyles and reduce or prevent risky behaviors among young children, adolescents and teens. The series explores school-based, community-wide and national efforts that successfully improve the psychological and physical wellbeing of all children and youth, and lift up policies and programs that reduce the impact of economic and social conditions that often contribute to unhealthy outcomes.
Webinar 5:Stopping Vaping and Substance Use
Programs to help reduce risky behaviors involving substances including drugs, tobacco and alcohol are the subject of the fifth webinar in the 2020 Bost Forum Series. Speakers will share programs that are effectively steering youth away from taking risks that could impair their long-term health and toward healthier alternatives.
