School-Age Child Care (SACC) Advisory Council

The purpose of the School-Age Child Care (SACC) Advisory Council is to provide guidance to the network, state regulatory agencies, and other decision-makers on matters related to the licensing, regulation, and funding of school-age child care in Kentucky.

In Kentucky, a "youth development agency" is a program with tax-exempt status under 26 U.S.C. sec. 501(c)(3), which operates continuously throughout the year as an outside-school-hours center for youth who are six (6) years of age or older, and for which there are no fee or scheduled-care arrangements with the parent or guardian of the youth served.

Interest & Commitment

Please confirm that you are able to attend at least 75% of all currently scheduled meetings. All meetings will be held virtually via Zoom. Dates/times are listed below. We suggest that you set up a calendar hold for these dates immediately after submitting this form.
Meeting dates: August through October 2022: 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET; November 2022 through April 2023: 1st Wednesday of each month, 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET; 1st Wednesday of August 2023 (8/3), 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET; 1st Wednesday of December 2023 (12/6), 11:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. ET
