Join us this week, July 15-19, 2024, in celebrating National Summer Learning Week!
Hosted by the National Summer Learning Association (NSLA), National Summer Learning Week is an annual celebration dedicated to elevating the importance and impact of high-quality summer learning opportunities.
This year’s themes are:
- Literary & Learning
- Arts
- Wellness, Health, & Sports
- STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math)
- Community & Leadership
Programs should check out the 2024 Program Toolkit, which contains a wealth of resources, such as logos, graphics, social media copy, and sample proclamation language. Use the hashtag #SummerLearningWeek to share a message about how important summer learning is for your community or shine a spotlight on how your program is celebrating one of the themed days.
Families can get involved by visiting DiscoverSummer.org, which is a free resource designed to help parents locate summer learning programs in their community or engage their children at home. The searchable database now contains over 35,000 summer programs across all 50 states!
The Kentucky Out-of-School Alliance will be participating on social media this year. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn so you don’t miss a thing!
