Panel on Combining Resources to
Support Quality Out-of-School Time Programs
Date: Thursday, September 12, 2024
Time: 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. ET
How are you balancing between the needs for professional development, mental health support, and individual programming for out-of-school time (OST) with your current funding? Have you ever considered combining financial resources to maximize your programs’ impact? Looking for possible solutions? Then, join NCASE’s presentation and panel discussion on Thursday, September 12 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. ET.
Guest panelists from New Jersey and Vermont will discuss how to enhance programs by combining resources at the state level with our new technical assistance (TA) resource: Combining Resources to Support Quality Out-of-School Time Programs Brief. Developed by the Administration for Families and Children (ACF), Office of Child Care’s (OCC) National Center on Afterschool and Summer Enrichment (NCASE), this resource describes sources, methods, and strategies for combining and managing funds.
Participants will have the opportunity to share their best practices for combining financial resources to support OST and to ask questions of the panelists. Please be sure to read the brief beforehand and bring your questions.
