Here at KYOSA, we know that 30 minutes of reading practice a day is an important step to keep growing minds agile and reduce “summer slide.” Together with our good friends at Save the Children, we’re donating 20,000 American Girl books to help support summer reading programs across the state.
Here’s how to win books for your site:
- The first 10 people to contact us with the name of their school/organization and a brief description (2-3 sentences) of how they’ll use these books to support summer reading will win 2000 books each.
- The school/organization must be a registered member of the KYOSA network (free to join);
- The school/organization must offer summer and/or afterschool programming; and
- A representative of the school/organization must be able to meet KYOSA staff for pick up in Berea, KY between the hours of 8:00 AM -12:00 PM EDT on June 13th or 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM EDT on June 20th.
